What kind of water works best to create gem water?

For the highest vibration water, we recommend structured water. See and learn about structured water devices through these links: Jivara and Aqua Energizer.

How long do the Gems emit energy?

Well, if you ask 5 experts you might get 5 different answers on this topic. There is no single truth to this. It is our personal belief that the gems do not have to be recharged and won’t lose their “powers” in our lifetime. All of the crystals we use are hand-selected, natural pieces taken from the earth. They are age-old and have been created in red heat, eons ago. They haven’t lost their energy since they were created and we don’t see a reason why they should in a human’s short lifespan. But hey, it certainly wouldn’t hurt the gems’ properties if you’d place your VitaJuwel gem vial in the morning sun or in moon light.  In fact, many of our customers make weekly rituals of bathing their gem pods in the sun or moon light.

How long am I supposed to leave my VitaJuwel gem water vial in my water?

Gem water experts suggest that you leave the gem vial in a decanter with about 1.5 liters of drinking water for 7 – 10 minutes to get the full experience. And, if you are thirsty when you fill your gem water bottle, start drinking right away. We usually keep our bottles full so they are ready for us when we are ready for them.

Are the crystals floating around in some kind of liquid in the gem pod and gem vial and if so what is it?

The liquid inside is a mix of water and a non toxic alcohol to keep it fresh. It is similar to the way tinctures or homeopathics contain alcohol.

When I clean my VitaJuwel bottle, how do I reinsert the silicone rings in the lid and base of the bottle?

The silicone rings that go inside the lid and base have a smoother and a rougher side. The rougher side faces the glass part of the bottle while the smoother faces the lid. Make sure the silicone lids are  flattened and leveled in the base and lid of your VitaJuwel bottle.

How do the gems affect the water if they are sealed inside the vial?

It’s a common misunderstanding that crystal water or gem water is made in a process that includes minerals dissolving in water. You actually DON’T want to have a physical component from gems / crystals dissolving in your water as it doesn’t improve it at all. Gem water is made by the subtle energetic radiation of the gems. As you know from sun rays, magnetic rays or microwaves, radiation waves pass through glass. That’s the same with the gems’ radiation.

How are the gem vials created?

Each of our VitaJuwel gem vials is handcrafted by master glassblowers in Bohemia. They use premium, lead-free glass and hand-selected gems. The process of heating, melting and cooling of a single vial takes about 24 minutes and is patented worldwide! All of our gemstones are fairly-traded. Before use in our gem vials, gemstones are cleaned thoroughly in a special, 8-step process. The special liquid inside the gem vial prevents the crystals from getting mossy and the vial from getting dim. It’s natural and harmless, even if accidentally swallowed.

Is my VitaJuwel Gem Vial very fragile? How do I handle it properly?

To a lot of our customers, VitaJuwel gem vials are pieces of art and “Jewelry for Water”. They might seem to be very fragile, but they are also tools made for a purpose. Our master glassblowers know their trade and create gem vials from lead-free glass that are very sturdy and robust. But PLEASE be aware that they are made of glass. Handle them with the same care as a precious wine glass. Avoid impacts, blows or strokes. Don’t drop it. Don’t freeze, boil or microwave it. Avoid temperatures below 45° F and above 95° F. Love your vial and it will return the favor! 🙂

How do I prepare my VitaJuwel gem vial properly?

Preparing gem water with a VitaJuwel gem vial is easy: Simply place your gem vial inside a pitcher (preferably made of glass), fill it up with regular drinking water and wait for 7 – 10 minutes. That’s all it takes! You can either leave the gem vial inside the pitcher or take it out. Crystal images by the Hado Life laboratory, which was co-founded by Dr. Masaru Emoto, verified that water treated with VitaJuwel regains its original, natural energy and thus is comparable to fresh spring water.

How do I clean my VitaJuwel Gem Vial and VitaJuwel Decanter?

The gem vials and decanters are NOT dishwasher-safe. Wash them by hand using lukewarm water. Do not use chemicals or abrasive cleaners. To remove lime scale from inside the decanter, fill it with water and 2 tbsp. of white vinegar. Leave it overnight and rinse it very thoroughly with clean water the next day.

Can I use my VitaJuwel Gem vial to create my coffee?

Of course you can heat up gem water and use it to prepare tea or coffee. We have lots of customers who report that tea tastes more aromatic when prepared with gem water.

Is it okay to mix different gem water blends?

Yes, and there are too many combinations for us to have tried them all. Try the blends individually and try them in combination. If you find one you really love, tell us about it.
